This is a small tool that installs itself and adds itself to start-up. Giving the drive the same Vista Icons and shows how much space is consumed by underlining the drive as shown in the pic! Use and enjoy! :-)

Does it give you any error? Please explain so that I can help you. Just extract the program and double-click on the Vsdrv Icon. Your done!

It works but it isn't (my) RAM friendly (don't know why).

Works perfect for me. Thanks
Fedia I personally think that if you have 128 Mb-256 Mb RAM with a slower processor preferably border line 1.0 Ghz(Assuming). Then the Microsoft Sidebar consumes memory a lot 11000Kb -13460Kb at instances can go to 17000Kb at peak RAM usage. (Vista drive is no program to consume RAM. It would never+Literally no .exe program running in the background. Its just a set of Icons that gets updated along with the space of the drive you consume.) Closing the sidebar would help. If you continue to face memory problems increasing the page file is a good idea!

My PC is 2.2 GHz, 512 RAM (adding 1GB next week), I think I downloaded that from some other site (older version). Anyway, I'm not using it (why use it for 1 HD? :D). And thanks for your support!

PS The Microsoft sidebar sometimes takes <108 MB of RAM ("640 KB ought to be enough for anyone". Bill Gates 1981) ! :D

It doesnt unistall, and making me mad cause I really dislike this.
I think you need to reboot. If you still have problems you can rebuild the icon cache by deleting iconcache.db or rebuilding icons using TweakUI from Microsoft. If you use Icon Packager you can restore the default icons. Remove the program from start-up using Msconfig. Type Msconfig in Run and under the start-up Tab uncheck vsdrv. The computer shall ask for reboot then reboot. Have a nice day :-)
